Hey there! I'm Shura! Your typical day to day digital artist just trying my best to get better. Anyway welcome to my sketchbook! In here we have some of my new, old, and strange works. Sometimes I might just post about something I like! Anyway I hope you enjoy you time here! -Shura
Them boys are still on my mind. This time I decided to split the difference between the show and my natural style. I think it meshed pretty well. I also touched up their designs especially butch, after looking at other people’s designs for his hair I was finally able to settle on something.
Lore wise I like to think this is the boys a little older. Probably around 8 years old. Ideally I’d like to eventually design all the way to adulthood for them. I’m especially looking forward to drawing their teen looks because the episode where they were teens never sat right with me. It’ll be nice to finally right some wrongs.
Here I go drawing them boys again. This time I tried to mimic the show as close as possible. While not perfect I think it is pretty close. I also took this chance to redesign the boys a little.
There isn’t much difference in boomer and brick’s designs. However butch needed a complete redesign. His part caused the most trouble and I went through like three different hairstyles with him.
For those of you who might have missed my first post. The lady in the picture is Dr. Tiffany Gallium, she ended up adopting the boys after they ended up in the foster system.
Boomer has adjusted the fastest to this new life. He adores Gallium and sometimes slips up and calls her mom instead of Dr. Galluim like he and the other boys usually call her. Boomer has some separation anxiety and is rather clingy to Gallium. While this can become a bigger problem later on, Gallium is letting Boomer have his way for now as the boys are still transitioning into her home. Though she has already started making subtle moves to encourage Boomer’s independence.
Brick is still resistant to the change, before Gallium adopted them they were tossed around by a lot of foster families. Not very many people could handle the boys behavior. He’s still convinced that Him or Mojo Jojo is going to come get them. But in the meantime Brick is trying his best to get Gallium to abandon them like everyone else. This has not worked so far. Gallium seems a tad annoyed with his scheming behavior but in all honesty she’s a little impressed. Brick is a very clever boy. She’s trying to figure out how to put alll that smarts to good use.
Butch is still resistant to the change of life style, if only because he is confused and upset. He had become used to being yelled at or called bad by the other families he had stayed with. But Gallium hasn’t done either. Butch has developed a bad habit of breaking things whenever he’s jealous of the attention Boomer gets. Additionally Brick doesn’t help the situation when he eggs Butch on. Gallium has yet to figure out how to fix this situation. She hopes she can soon because she’s starting to get odd looks for buying so many plates.
For Gallium’s part she clearly loves the boys. When she was contacted by the boys caseworker Ms. Pattie (who was her own caseworker back in the day) she knew she had to take the boys in. While by no means a perfect mother, she’s trying her very best. If only dealing with the boys was as simple as her research…
I always loved the powerpuff girls when I was little. However the story for the rowdyruff boys always made me sad. Especially as I got older. So I’ve decided to create these boys their very own professor.
This is a sort of rough approximation of what they look like. This was done on my phone, so it’s subject to change.
Dr. Tiffany Gallium adopted Boomer, Brick, and Butch after they ended up in the Townsville foster system.
Boomer adjusted the fastest, becoming rather clingy to Gallium. Like the others he calls her Dr. Galluim but sometimes he slips up and calls her mom. But Gallium doesn’t call attention to it
Brick and Gallium butt heads often. Brick keeps trying to get Gallium to send them back like every other family that attempted to adopt them.
Butch acts up the most out of all three of the boys. Breaking things and bullying Boomer whenever he actually wants attention. He is often egged on by Brick who is trying to use him to anger Galluim to the point of abandoning them. But so far it hasn’t happened.
